Maseru, Aug. 26 – In a bid to enhance service delivery within government ministries, the European Union (EU) has donated office furniture valued at M6.4 million to the Ministry of Law and Justice. The handover event took place on Monday.

Speaking on behalf of the EU, Mrs. Mathe Tau said that the donation aims to bolster the government’s efforts in improving service delivery across its ministries and addressing the issue of decentralisation. She highlighted that one of the EU’s commitments is to support Lesotho in its journey towards a sustainable and just future.

In his remarks, the Minister of Law and Justice, Mr. Richard Ramoeletsi, expressed gratitude to the EU for the timely donation. He noted that the furniture comes at a significant moment as the nation celebrates its 200th anniversary. . . .
