Maseru, July 29 — The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition (MoAFSN) has presented ministerial commitment as per the 2024/2025 budget speech.
This the minister did before the Senate’s Government Assurances Committee on Monday.
Minister Thabo Mofosi indicated that their major focus is enhancing inclusive and sustainable economic growth and private sector led job creation.
Mr. Mpho Kabelo from Planning Unit, added that the ministry’s commitment is to enhance extension services support to farmers and there are initiatives that the ministry has initiated and most of them are not yet complete but are promising.
