Maseru, Dec. 03 — Instilling patriotism, discipline and selflessness amongst youth became top of agenda during boot campers pass out parade celebration of 726 youth at Makoanyane Barracks on Friday.
In one accord, outgoing Boot Campers, supported by their counterparts, promised LDF Commander and the nation at large that they would raise Lesotho and LDF flags high by standing against bad behaviour.
Delivering words of support to Serial 10/2024 Boot Campers LDF Commander Lieutenant General Mojalefa Letsoela said within a short space of time and with limited resources, LDF has managed to mould the youth who would otherwise represent Lesotho as a free sovereign state.
“As LDF we are committed to serve the nation, we exist to provide an ideal platform for enhancing patriotism,” he said, adding that today marks the 21 duty tour at Makoanyane where mode of instructions and delivery was different for Boot Campers, thus must go back to the society and behave in an exceptional manner.
