Mohale’s Hoek, Dec. 15 — The District Administrator Ms. Moleboheng Lebele has on Friday intensified Operation Hloekisa Lesotho by engrossing into most shacks surrounding the bus stop pleading with owners to partake in the operation.
Ms. Lebele articulated that it is a pity that to the date people are still of the view that the operation is supposed to be carried out by civil servants only, noting it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that they live in a clean environment.
She highlighted that street vendors should take ownership of the operation for them to able to reprimand each other to stop littering, but however applauded those who adhered to the call even though the turn up was unsatisfactory compared to the previous operation.
