LESOTHO CONCLUDES WORLD CUP QUALIFYING CAMPAIGN IN VICTORY

Maseru, Oct. 14—Lesotho Senior National Team, Likuena has managed to garner 12 points at their wrap-up match for the World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe, walking away with a 1-0 victory.

However, Lesotho still does not qualify for the World Cup as it remains at position four in group C.

This is the first time in history Lesotho walks away with so many points and this time it has also managed to advance to the group stages, while in the past it would be eliminated in the first round of the qualifiers.

Lesotho has played 10 games in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, won three, lost four and had a draw in three.

Lesotho has also gained three points from South Africa (SA) after fielding an ineligible player by the latter in March this year.
