Maseru, May 07 – The marathon runner who is going to represent Lesotho in this year’s Paris Olympic Games, Tebello Ramakongoana is doing wonders in his preparations for this global event in the United States (US).
Federation of Athletic Lesotho (FAL) Secretary General Mr. Makara Thibinyane told the Agency on Tuesday that Ramakongoana has won the 12-kilometre race in the US and that in the process he was able to set the new national record of 34 minutes 40 seconds.
He said besides setting this national record, Ramakongoana also won himself an estimated M130, 000 as the first prize money. . .
