Maseru, Feb.05 — Lesotho joined the rest of the world to commemorate World Cancer day held at the Ministry of Health Auditorium on Wednesday under the theme; ‘United by Unique’.
In his remarks, Minister of Health Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane said that the World Cancer Day is marked on February 04, hence the occasion, adding that Lesotho faces a huge crisis of the Cancer numbers which accelerates every day.
Mr. Mochoboroane emphasised that in 2012 Lesotho Government contributed the vaccine (HPV) to defeat cervical cancer but due to lack of funds the government stopped the process. . .
