LESOTHO’S AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS IN ETHIOPIA

Maseru, Aug. 09 — The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) Ms. Nts’iuoa Sekete is reported to have presented Letters of Credence to the Executive Secretary Mr. Antonio M.A Pedro in the capital Addis Ababa on Tuesday.

According to a statement by the ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, the Ambassador is said to have commended the Commission for its support to the Kingdom in addressing pressing socio-economic issues and praised its historical efforts to improve the standard of living of the Basotho people, citing among others the digital upskilling for women and girls in Africa; from which Lesotho recently benefitted.
