LIKUENA STAGNANT IN FIFA RANKINGS

Maseru, June 21 – Lesotho’s senior soccer squad Likuena remained stagnant in the latest World FIFA rankings released on Thursday despite having played two World Cup qualifying matches against Zimbabwe and Rwanda this month respectively.

Likuena won the first FIFA World Cup group C match 2-0 against Zimbabwe’s Warriors played at Orlando Stadium but lost another FIFA World Cup qualifier 1-0 against Rwanda’s The Wasps played at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

When approached for comment, Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Media Officer Mr Mikia Kalati told the Agency on Friday that he too was surprised to see Likuena being stagnant with no movement after the release of the world rankings on Thursday. . .
