Quthing, Sept. 01 — Liphakoe Ladies will engage in a more than 10 kilometers prayer walk on Saturday this week.
The Liphakoe Ladies Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mrs. Sekhotseng Adam-Molapo in an interview said the prayer walk on a theme ‘healing the foundations of Quthing’, is intended to end Women’s Month, spiritually bless and transform Quthing community interceding situations, foster deeper spiritual connection and awareness among participants including Quthing community at large, locally known as Liphakoe.
She stated that the walk organized by Liphakoe Ladies, will start from Seaka bridge to Liphakoe Pitso ground in Upper Moyeni by participants holding placards with various messages that include, prayer has power in all situations, Woman unite to transform Lesotho, preserve Culture, natural resources and tourism.
Mrs. Adam-Molapo further said during the walk, there will also be two prayer stations specifically at Lower Moyeni shopping area and opposite Holy Trinity church Upper Moyeni along the road to Liphakoe Pitso ground, where there will be speeches and entertainment by well known local artists that include Khahliso Mphephka and K’hak’heni.
