LIVESTOCK SCREENING CONTINUES

Mohales’ Hoek, June 29 — As an initiative to combat high rate of stock theft in the country, Lesotho Mounted Police under Stock Theft department has from Wednesday started screening livestock from nearby cattle posts.

In an interview with the Agency, Lesotho Mounted Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Inspector ‘Mareabetsoe Mofoka highlighted that the objective of this operation is to ensure that all livestock have proper documentation and that there are no stolen ones amongst them.
