Maseru, Oct. 14 — Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) employment procedure remains a concern not only to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) but also to members of the public.
This was said by PAC Chairperson Mrs. Machabana Lemphane Letsie during PAC’s sitting with LNDC on Tuesday.
Mrs. Lemphane Letsie said the untransparent employment procedure of LNDC staff is out in the public domain and the latter has lost hope on LNDC, citing the employment of General Manager Internal Audit, who is alleged to be related to LNDC Board Chairperson as one of them.
She said the Committee is also not convinced that the appointment of LNDC General Manager Corporate Service was transparent based on the evidence provided.
” We are not saying people of the same surname cannot work in the same organization or anywhere in the country, we want proper processes and procedures to be followed,” she stressed…
