LTDC COMMEMORATES TOURISM MONTH

Maseru, Sept. 27 — The Lesotho Tourism Development Cooperation (LTDC) has commemorated Tourism Month by planting 400 indigenous trees at Qiloane, Thaba-Bosiu.

The LTDC Acting Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Tebello Thoola said this is the initiative to further enhance the sustainable use of natural resources.

He said this year’s theme ”Tourism and Green Investment” emphasises investment activities that focus on projects or areas committed to protecting the environment such as reducing pollution, using fossil fuels, conserving natural resources, and developing alternative energy resources.
