WIND HINDERS DELIVERY OF BALLOTS

Qacha’s Nek, Sept.27 — Strong wind has today hindered the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) helicopter from landing when delivering ballots in hard-to-reach areas.

The polling stations are Khohlong and Ha Janemofolo and they are in Lebakeng constituency.

In an interview with the Agency, the District Electoral Officer (DEO), Mrs. ‘Mateboho Matsie revealed that the helicopter tomorrow starts delivering in those places before it gets windy.

Apart from that, she said all is well as they have successfully delivered ballots in Ts’oelikana and Nts’upe council and tomorrow the remaining polling stations in Qanya and Urban council will be covered.
