MAJORITY OF LESUPA-TSELA WORKERS PAID

Maseru, July 08 — Of the 30, 262 Lesupa-tsela workers, 30, 086 have been paid since the implementation of the program in June 2024.

According to the Chief Information Officer in the Office of the Prime Minister Mrs. Khopotso Phafoli, 176 are remaining as their phone numbers are unavailable and not registered digitally through Mpesa or Eco-cash while others, whose names appear on identity documents are different from those registered with mobile networks.

She therefore urged those who have not been paid to report themselves at district coordinators or report at Lesupa-tsela offices based in Maseru. . .
