Mafeteng, July 28 —The Mafeteng Magistrate Court has sentenced a 31 year-old Ts’okolo Maoene of Taung Ha Kekeleng to four years imprisonment or pay a fine M4,000.00 for contravening with section 59(b) of Penal Code No. 5 of 2010.
According to the evidence led before court the convict on July 06, 20023 intentionally, wrongfully and unlawfully decided to steal manhole cover worth M2,685.00 belonging to Econet Telecom Lesotho and sell it to scrap yard owner with only M100.00 thus committing criminal offense of theft of property belonging to public office.
