Maseru, Nov.15—Manonyane Community Council A04 on Wednesday held the oath taking ceremony for Councillors in Roma.
The 14 members of the Council, 12 Councillors and two Chiefs took oaths individually that they would uphold the Local Government Act 1997 and bear allegiance to the Constitution of Lesotho.
The oath taking was administered by the Community Council Secretary Ms. Lisemelo Lesenyeho. It was during the swearing in which was also the first sitting that the Councillors elected the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Council. . .
