Maseru, Jul. 10 — Mantsopa Annual Walk (MAW) is to hold an ecumenical prayer on July 21 at ‘Lekhalong la Mantsopa’, Modderpoort, in the Free State province in South Africa (SA).
According to Mr. David Tsenodi MAW Team Leader, the Ecumenical Prayer for is aimed at praying for peaceful democratic political transition to the government of national unity in the SA following the recent national elections, and a successful commemoration of the 200 years of the founding of the Basotho nation in Lesotho.
MAW project is a two nations initiative that seeks to contribute to increased tourists’ traffic in the neighbouring local authorities of Mantsopa Municipality and Maseru City Council in the Republic of South Africa and the Kingdom of Lesotho respectively.
