Maseru, Oct 09 — The Lesotho’s senior women’s soccer squad popularly known as Mehalalitoe have lost two out of two COSAFA Women’s Championship by Botswana counterparts played in Johannesburg on Monday.
The 3-0 loss is the second after Mehalalitoe lost the COSAFA Cup opening match 1-0 against Zimbabwe which returned to international football following suspension by FIFA.
Mehalalitoe’s last game will be against Namibia on Wednesday and it will be just a formality and pride at stake for the girls from the mountain kingdom since they have already been eliminated in this year’s edition of the tournament.
