Quthing, Dec. 30 — Two men aged 18 and 26 from Ha Ntho, who are charged with alleged murder of a 36 year-old man from the same village, have been remanded in custody by the Quthing Magistrate Court on Tuesday.
According to the charge, it is alleged on Saturday December 28 midnight, the two suspects Ndumiso Maekeso 18 and Khabisi Mokhothoane 26 met deceased Eketsang Maoeng 36 who angrily accused them for grazing their livestock in his fields after which they did not even ask for his forgiveness but attacked him.
The deceased, who is alleged to have been under the influence of alcohol, beat the two suspects who retaliated by beating him with feasts, kicked him and left him laying down.
The charge further showed that the deceased screamed such that in the early morning hours on Sunday December 29, his neighbors were invited by the screams, came to help and took him to the Quthing government hospital where he was treated as an out patient.
