MINISTER SPEAKS ON AMBASSADORS’ APPOINTMENTS

Maseru, June 29 — The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane has denied allegations of claims that appointment of one Mr. Matete ‘Nena, Director for Asia and Pacific Realm in the ministry was based on favouritism.

Speaking at one of the local radio stations last night after the commissioning event, the Minister highlighted the need for Mr. ‘Nena’s colleagues and the nation at large to give him support as he is undertaking this huge assignment on behalf of the nation and the country rather than mock him.
