Mafeteng, August 18 — The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition through the Department of Nutrition and Home Economics will hold a one day Nutrition Sensitive Platform meeting on Tuesday next week.
The activity which is expected to attract participants from government ministries and non-governmental stakeholder in the food security including local authorities.
In an interview with the District Home Economic Officer Mrs. Manthati Tohlang said the initiative is aimed at establishing a Nutrition Sensitive Platform Committee to help the ministry to fight food insecurity and malnutrition through producing crops and processing them until the stage of consumption.
