Maseru, Oct. 02 — The Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation (MICSTI) Human Resource have called employees to ensure effective communication for effective implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS).
This came out during a one-day PMS meeting led by Director Human Resource in the Ministry, Mrs. ‘Maseeiso Lenkoane at Lesotho News Agency (LENA) Maseru today, Wednesday.
The meeting which saw participation of Director LENA, Ms. Moroa Mopeli and other staff, marked commencement of campaigns aimed at educating staff in different departments of the Ministry to understand processes surrounding PMS.
Unpacking PMS, Ms. Tebello Lesoetsa, Human Resource Officer in the Ministry of Information said PMS is a tactical method of producing and nourishing improved performance in employees, leading to increase in the effectiveness of organisations.
