Mohale’s Hoek, May.23— The Ministry Health is holding a 2 weeks training for Public Health Nurses and 66 retired ones working under 1 year contract.
This was confirmed by Mrs. Paulina Mokoroane from the Ministry’s Primary Health Care Programme in an interview with the Agency, whereby the latter stated that the aim of the training is to equip Public Health Workers who will train Village Health Workers in all districts.
Mrs. Mokoroane further noted that participants are being trained on proper ways of using new standardised package kits as well as reporting tools which have been allocated to them, so that they pass their knowledge to the Village Health Workers appropriately.
