Maseru, Jun. 19 — The Minister of Information, Communications, Science and technology and Innovation Ms. Nthati Moorosi has presented the status of the ministerial commitments as per 2023/2024 budget speech, this she did before the Senate’s Government Assurance Committee.
In her presentation, Minister Moorosi indicated that one of their commitments is profiling and migration of some of the public services to online platforms, noting that tender for the consulting firm that will develop eGovernment services issued and closed on June 07, awaiting evaluation and award.
She also said the ministry is working on the enhancement of sensitisation efforts and increased internet access in underserved areas, and expansion of digital broadcasting by connecting at least 10 radio stations. . .
