PARTICIPANTS PROMISE MORE PARTNERSHIPS 

Maseru, Jan. 31– Development Partners, Academia, Private Sector and Lesotho Government have agreed on the importance of strengthening partnerships and collaboration on issues related to disaster preparedness.

Panelists from the aforementioned sectors highlighted the need to continue with more partnerships and collaboration saying as Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) is everyone’s business and not the responsibility of the government through Disaster Management Authority (DMA) alone.

They appreciated that partnerships will make it easy for all to invest in disaster preparedness for sustainable development so as to make Lesotho a safe place. . .
