Maseru, Nov. 06 — The Prime Minister (PM), Mr. Ntsokoane Samuel Matekane performed switching on the streetlights on A1 Road in Maseru on Monday night.
The event was led by the Roads Directorate under the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and is part of reconstructing and rehabilitating streetlights within Maseru. This project commenced at Maseru bridge last year to Maseru A1 Road and main circle.
According to the PM, this is part of the government’s effort meant to alleviate crime fuelled by darkness, saying it is the wish of the current regime to ensure that streetlights are in operation in different parts of towns countrywide. . .
