PM URGES DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS TO HONOR DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS AMIDST CLIMATE CHANGE

Maseru, July. 01– The Prime Minister (PM) Mr. Samuel Matekane has called on development partners to continue to honor their Official Development Assistance (ODA) commitments, citing the critical role in plays in supporting the country’s development efforts.

Speaking in at e Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) in Spain, the PM stated that despite efforts to invest in productive sectors such as agriculture and manufacturing, Lesotho faces significant challenges due to the impacts of climate change and protectionist trade policies.

He added that this challenges have compounded the existing burden, impending progress and highlighting the need for sustained support from development partners . . .
