Maseru, Jun.20 — Lance Corporal Mahlomola Makhoali, one of the accused in the ongoing Mohale Dam Murder Trial has on Thursday told the court that the police lied in their evidence.
In his testimony as one of the defence witnesses in a trial within trial, the accused stated that it is not true that the police advised him and other suspects about their legal rights during the investigation of the case.
He added that it is not true that the suspects were not tortured and that they freely and voluntarily gave the police directions to Mohale Dam where the bodies of the deceased in the matter were dumped. . .
