Maseru, March 05 — The Public Officers Defined Contribution Fund is under the spotlight after the Basotho National Party (BNP) Leader Mr. Machesetsa Mofomobe has called for the establishment of the adhoc committee to investigate allegations of mishandling of pension funds.
The BNP Leader confirmed to the Agency on Tuesday that he has already filed the motion with the Officer of the Speaker of the National Assembly on Monday.
He said luckily for him, the Business committee sits every Wednesday, saying the committee will consider his motion but noted that since every parliamentary business is suspended during the allocation of budget to the Government ministries, his motion could only be brought into the house for a debate thereafter. . .
