PUBLIC SECTOR INSTITUTIONS  FIGHT CORRUPTION

Maseru, Aug. 15 — Representatives from different Ministries known as  Systems Integrity Committees (SIC)  are attending a two day corruption engagement training held in Maseru starting on Tuesday.

The SIC work together with Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences (DCEO) with the aim to rebuild integrity within public sector for the purposes of efficient service delivery, Mr. Litelu Ramokhoro, DCEO Director for Public Education and Corruption Prevention (PECP) said this when addressing participants.

He said the SIC are meant to be DCEO Ambassadors in the fight against misuse or abuse of public offices that is power or resources for one’s own personal gain.
