PUBLIC SERVICE MINISTRY ON CAPACITY BUILDING 

MASERU – A few hours ahead of Public Service Day, the Ministry  is hosting a capacity building seminar on the use of the State Parties Assessment Tool (SPAT) in Maseru on Tuesday.

The four – day seminar was officiated by Labour Minister, Mr. Ts’eliso Mokhosi on behalf of Public Service Minister, Mr. Stephen Mputi.

In his address, the Minister said the government is committed to building efficient public service, hence ratification of the Public Service Charter  in 2002.

He said the government is currently imparting a new and positive culture of changing mindset and attitude within Public Officers, so that they  can serve the society diligently.

He urged participants to explore and  learn how best to utilise SPAT  in a bid to look forward towards effective implementation of the Charter. “Utilise this opportunity, learn for quality service delivery.” 

He also  thanked AUC for its holistic support that has made it possible in today’s training…
