Qacha’s Nek, Mar. 21—The district Culture Officer, Ministry of Tourism, Sports, Arts and Culture, Mrs. ‘Mabohlokoa Rafatse has invited Melele to the music festival to be held at Community hall on Saturday.
Speaking to the Agency on Thursday, she said the event carries great significance for Basotho as they celebrate 200 years anniversary since the founding of the nation by King Moshoeshoe.
“This festival comprising of different genres such as famo, gospel, house and se jerusalema leads the celebration to be held in the district to celebrate the 200th anniversary,” she said adding “We have to hold activities to resuscitate people and educate them about who we are prior the main event to be held at Maseru, in October.” . .
