QACHA’S NEK SPORTS ADMINISTRATORS URGE LNOC FOR SAFEGUARDING TRAINING

Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 21 — At least 30 sports administrators from Qacha’s Nek have made an urgent plea to the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) for a safeguarding training course, emphasizing the need for greater safety, both in sports and in their everyday lives.

The request was made on Thursday during the ongoing Sports Administration Level II Course, hosted at the district’s education hall, where sports leaders have gathered to enhance their skills in governance, planning, and sports development.

The five-day course, which began on Monday, November 18, and will conclude on Friday, November 22, is led by National Course Director Mr. Moshoeshoe Molapo and LNOC CEO Mr. Morake Raleaka.

It is part of the LNOC’s ongoing commitment to fostering leadership within the sports community and aligns with the legacy of this year’s Olympic Day celebrations.
