Mokhotlong April 11 — Residents of Tlhanyaku have started harvesting rosehip in Tlhanyaku to sell and meet some of their socio economic needs.
They say they normally harvest wild rosehips, which are berries, from April until August everyday to earn a temporary living as they are unemployed.
They told the Agency in an interview that they wake up every day to pick the naturally grown rosehips from thorny bushes and fill 20 litres buckets to get M50.00 on each bucket.
One of the harvesters, Keneoakae Molapo said the money is not enough and requested buyers to increase it to at least M120.00 per bucket to enable them to earn a better living during the period they are harvesting. LU/TL
