SENTLE MOJELA TAKES OATH AS NEW PRINCIPAL CHIEF OF TEBANG

Maseru, May 30 — Sentle Mojela, 28, has been sworn in as the new Principal Chief of Tebang. The oath-taking ceremony took place before the House of the Senate on Thursday.

This appointment follows the conviction and sentencing of his father, Chief Khoabane Mojela, who received a 27-year prison sentence. Chief Khoabane was found guilty of murdering Tsenolo Letsie, whom he shot on May 18, 2020, at Tsakholo in Mafeteng. Letsie later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the shooting.

In his first interview as the newly appointed Chief, Sentle Mojela expressed his dedication to serving the best interests of the Basotho people and upholding the throne of King Letsie III. . .
