SEPONO GRANTED BAIL IN STOCK THEFT CASE

Qacha’s Nek, Jan. 24 – Moeti Sepono, a 58-year-old resident of Ha Jane, has been released on M1,500 bail following allegations of unlawful possession of stock.

Sepono is accused of contravening section 3 (2), read with section 14 (6), of the Stock Theft Act No. 4 of 2000, as amended by Act No. 10 of 2006.

The court heard that on January 10, 2025, at Ha Jane, Sepono allegedly possessed five cattle without being able to provide a satisfactory explanation when questioned by police.

During the bail application, Crown Counsel Mants’ebo Mofoka did not object but emphasized that the accused must not interfere with witnesses. . .
