Maseru, Sep.14 — The Executive Head Regulatory and External Affairs for Vodacom Lesotho Mr Ts’epo Ntaopane has revealed that the company is pledging M1.7 million which is aimed at tackling issues related to Gender Based Violence (GBV).
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Thursday, Mr. Ntaopane said that the Vodacom Lesotho is planning to establish a centre which will amongst others will provide services such as a crèche, a clinic, the Police department Child and Gender Protection Unit (CGU) as well as offering counselling services.
Mr. Ntaopane mentioned that the aim of this centre is to provide a safe space while also raising awareness and creating educational campaigns on issues related to Gender Based Violence and its victims across the country.
