WORKERS UNIONS COMMEMORATE HEROES DAY

Maseru, May 25 — Heroes Day has contributed immensely towards ensuring that rights of workers are not violated in Lesotho.

This is according to Construction, Mining , Quarry and Allied Workers (CMQ) Secretary General Mr. Robert Mokhahlane who told the Agency in an interview that workers unions have gathered in Mokhotlong on Saturday to commemorate Africa or Heroes day.

Mr. Mokhahlane said they are not only celebrating heroes who have fallen in line of duty fighting for their rights but also celebrate the establishment of government entities such as the Directorate of Dispute Prevention and Resolution (DDPR) which he said contributes immensely towards resolving disputes between workers and employers.
