Maseru — The Lesotho Tourism Development Corporation (LTDC) in collaboration with Thapoha Hiking Club will host the annual 14-day 3 Ranges Trail event from October 4 to 17,2025.
Ms Lisebo Mositsi, a member of 3 Ranges Trail implementation team, stated that 3 Ranges Trail is an annual adventure tourism event in Lesotho designed to promote the country as a premier destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Spanning 14 days and covering over 300 kilometres.
Ms. Mositsi said this challenging hike takes participants through some of the most breath-taking and diverse landscapes in the region.
She emphasized that trail objectives are to promote Lesotho as an adventure tourism destination both domestically and internationally. The other objective is by attracting participants from around the world.
She further explained that the trail helps to showcase Lesotho’s natural beauty and outdoor offerings to the global audience.
Advocate Makhetha Mots’oari from Lesotho Council for Tourism emphasized that this adventure event is special as it is not just a hike but a move. He noted that Lesotho is the only country in the world with a 100 kilometre elevation adding that the mountains offer pure air and a unique natural environment. . .
