Mohale’s Hoek, Sept. 09 — The Principal of Paul VI High School Mrs. ‘Malebohang Kometsi has confirmed that about 3 classrooms and teachers’ residential house have terribly been destroyed by Monday’s heavy winds, which also uprooted a huge tree within the school’s premises.
Mrs. Kometsi stated this in an interview with the Agency, also asserting that the teacher who was fast asleep during the ordeal is lucky to have escaped without any injuries, as the latter managed to shift to the other side of the room from which the wind seemed to not be stronger.

She further indicated that around December 2024, strong winds destroyed boys toilets compelling the school to allow boys to use girls toilets in boarding, while the District Education Manager Mrs. ‘Maposholi Posholi confirmed that her office has received 3 reports on schools destroyed, namely, Tsoloane, Maria Oa Rosari and Paul VI. . . .
