QUTHING MEETS TARGET IN HPV VACCINATION

Quthing, Feb. 28 —  Quthing has attained 96 percent of more than 11,500 district targeted population to get vaccine against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) during the vaccination campaign carried out this month.

This has been announced at the District Immunisation Committee meeting held in Quthing government hospital premises to share district reports on a two-week HPV vaccination campaign carried out from February 05 to 17.

Speaking at the same event the Acting District Administrator Mr Moses Mokati commended the district for the good work and encouraged the department of health to employ different strategies for various public groups to further support public health service delivery from village level. 

The District Health Manager Dr. Mpeile Mokhahlane applauded all that have been engaged in HPV vaccination campaign and made it possible to achieve the district target despite challenges.
