Botha-Bothe, Apr. 5 – The Botha-Bothe Farmers Forum will be launched on April 26, 2024, coinciding with the global celebration of World Disco Soup Day.
This dual event aims to highlight the significance of sustainable farming practices and address food waste while fostering community spirit through music and cooking.
Mr. Makhaola Ts’ilo, a Rural Self Help Development Officer, detailed the purpose of the visit to the district, emphasizing collaboration with the farmers’ forum to organize a memorable launch and World Disco Soup Day celebration.
He said the initiative follows the Rural Self Development Association’s (RSDA) efforts to establish farmers’ forums across all districts of Lesotho, addressing the critical challenge farmers face in marketing their produce.
