Botha-Bothe, Apr. 16 — Tankiso Khoarai, 42 of Khanyane, pleaded not guilty today to charges of sexually assaulting a 15 year-old girl.
The plea was entered before Magistrate ‘Manyefolo Ramakhula.
During his court appearance, Khoarai recounted his employment history with the complainant’s family, beginning on September 14, 2022 as a shepherd.
He noted a misunderstanding between himself and the family, suggesting that false information had been communicated to the family’s sons who were initially meant to assist him.
