Maseru, May 21 — Advocate Letuka Molati, Legal Representative for former Army Commander Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli in a case in which he, together with some army members and two politicians, are charged with treason and other offences, says his client is going to testify.
This he said during cross-examination of Retired Colonel Tanki Mothae who is on the stand as a first witness for the prosecution in the matter.
He stated that Kamoli will among others testify that former Prime Minister Motsoahae Thabane asked him to provide bodyguards for his girlfriend.
He indicated that he will add that his relations with former Commissioner of Police (COMPOL) Khothatso Tsooana were among others affected when he advised him that he could not give bodyguards to the girlfriend of the then Prime Minister.
