Maseru, Aug. 09 — Prime Minister, Mr. Ntsokoane Sam Matekane says his priority for the country is to produce enough food to feed the entire nation and to export to other neighbouring countries.
The Prime Minister made this statement during his tour of the block farming in Matelile in the Mafeteng district on Wednesday.
Mr. Matekane commended Mr. Thabo Sekonyela who is a block farmer who has ploughed community fields’ maize in the area.
The Prime Minister who toured the block and even got into the combine harvester which was harvesting the maize in the area, said his aim is to see many fields being ploughed in order to feed the Basotho nation.
