Maseru, Oct. 07– As a patron of the arts that has jealously guarded the creative industry, Standard Lesotho Bank is still here to promote the arts and to bring happiness for Basotho, this was said by the Chief Executive Mr. Anton Nicolaisen during the Launch of the Standard Lesotho Bank Letofe Lifestyle Experience.
Mr. Nocolaisen said they are proud to have been a significant contributor to the growth of the festival which has grown in leaps and bounds to become one of the biggest features of the entertainment calendar during the festive season, attracting multitudes within Lesotho, Basotho diaspora and the neighbouring countries.
He said LETOFE is one part of their long-term strategy to support music festivals and other arts including the iconic annual joy of jazz festivals as one way to express their gratitude to their customers for their support throughout the year.
Apart from that, Mr. Nocolaisen indicated that what they want to achieve with the festival is for it to evolve and align with the development in the industry, where the are seeing music festival transcending beyond the bounds of music and promises to be hotspot for all things, while preserving its mandate as a tourism event.
