BAP CHANGE OF SITTING TECHNICALLY NOT FLOOR CROSSING

Maseru, Nov 07 – The Basotho Action Party (BAP) movement from the opposition to the government has been described as technically not a floor crossing in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

Six BAP members followed their leader Professor Nqosa Mahao to move from the opposition side to sit in the government.

This was after the Speaker of the National Assembly Mr. Tlohang Sekhamane had read a letter from BAP informing him that they had resolved to change their sitting arrangement by moving from the opposition to the government side.

Mr. Sekhamane said thereafter that the six Members of Parliament (MPs) were now free to seek their new seats in the government side and they did. . .
