Maseru, Oct.14–Prince Seeiso Bereng Seeiso and Mr. Joshua Setipa received a warm welcome in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on a campaign for the position of the Commonwealth Secretary General.
This visit leads to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) where the elections for the position of the Commonwealth Secretary General position will be held in Samoa October 21 – 26.
In his campaign period, Mr. Setipa mentioned that his foremost priority is to reassess how the Secretariat operates saying through extensive consultations with the member states while also proposing implementation of reforms that enhance efficiency, transparency, representation and impact in global and regional engagements…
