Maseru, April 16. — A grandfather aged 73 Mojela Sefale is accused of killing her 50-year-old woman.
According to the Lesotho Mounted Police Service Reports, on April 4, 2023 this year a man from the same village of Mokoabating went to the suspect`s home to wake him up as there was somewhere they had to go.
The reports added that the man saw something near the house and turned the flash light on, that is where he realised that it was a human`s body.
He yelled at the owner and the deceased was identified by his grandfather as his younger sibling whom he had last seen the previous day around 5 pm.
The deceased was found with blood and scars.
However, on the scene, it was discovered that in one of the grandfather’s houses there was blood, a rabbit indicating the deceased was pulled from the cage to where she was found.
The reports further indicated that there was blood found on the grandfather’s hands and on trousers but he said he explained not knowing anything and how he ended up with blood.
The accused appeared before the Butha-Buthe street court on April 13, 2023 this year and he will again appear in court on April 25, 2023 this year.
The accused is waiting for a case in custody.
